The steering is tight and the car has a good solid feel overall. The 396 engine is the original engine with the matching VIN stamped on the block.The engine runs smooth and appears to have been rebuilt at some point, but I do not have any documentation showing this. The trim tag verifies this as a "true" Super Sport - SS396, built in Kansas City. The brakes are drum all around but work very well. It goes down the road great, the rear gearing is highway friendly. The car appears to be pretty unmolested overall. The black vinyl top looks good, not deteriorated or aged looking. The black bucket seat interior is nice with no flaws. It shines very good but does have some "checking" on the hood, rear quarter panel and driver`s door. Also has a Turbo 400 automatic transmission, 12 bolt rear end, power steering, power brakes, bucket seats and center console with floor shift. This is a great running and driving vehicle equipped with the numbers matching 396 big block engine.
